I’m making three different Halloween grilled cheese sandwiches to see which is the spookiest. This first sandwich might seem like it’s just your normal white bread grilled cheese, except I intentionally burnt it to give it some black and orange Halloween spirit. This truly tasted horrible, though. One out of 10 spooky. Our second sandwich is actually two sandwiches that use the same technique. If you carve a shape into one slice of bread and then toast it, you can then add it on top of some bread and cheese to make a festive grilled cheese like this ghosty toasty or this grilled cho lantern. These taste good and they’re festive. Seven out of 10. Spooky. For a third and potentially spookiest sandwich, we’re going to start by carving a hand out of bread. I guess we could call this a grilled cheese sandwich hand sandwich. Get it? After cooking it, I wrapped the sandwich in pushcido to make it look like real flesh. And then I was able to pull the fingers off for some small cheese poles. Not only was this delicious, but it was also 10 out of 10 extremely spooky.
