Hello everyone. Welcome to my channel. Today, I’m bringing you a wonderful, easy börek recipe that anyone can easily make. Without keeping you waiting, I’ll get right to the recipe. For my recipe, I first added about 5 cups of flour to a mixing bowl. I made a well in the center. I added a teaspoon of salt and half a teaspoon of yeast. I added about a cup of water to the center and slowly began kneading the dough. Be sure to add the water gradually, evenly. I used about 2 cups of water in total for this recipe. The amount of water required can vary depending on the brand and quality of the flour. Please add it in a controlled manner. After kneading the dough in the mixing bowl for a while and bringing it together, I transferred it to the table. After kneading it for about 5 minutes, until it reaches a smooth consistency . You can also support me by sharing my videos with your loved ones. I kneaded the dough sufficiently. I let it rest in a plastic bag for about half an hour to allow it to soften . I then remove the dough from the bag. After shaping it into a round shape, I divide it in half. Then, I divide each piece into eight pieces and prepare the dough. After preparing the dough, if you have time, you can let it rest for another 5-10 minutes. I quickly roll it out without resting . I roll it out with my hands to the size of a tea plate. Then, using a rolling pin , I roll it out to the size of a cake plate. It’s very easy, practical, and fun to make. It creates a layered, crispy, flaky pastry. Trust me, you can try the recipe. I enlarged the dough a little by hand. Using a rolling pin, I rolled it out to a size slightly smaller than a cake plate . I melted about 100 grams of butter. I mixed in about a teaspoon of oil . I prepared the dough in pairs. After this, I let it rest for another half hour. Then I started rolling it out. Be careful not to stack the dough on top of each other. Sprinkle a little flour on the bottom. Cover it with a plastic bag to prevent it from drying out . I try to share the tips and tricks of the recipes I make in my videos as much as I can . I rolled it out until it reached the size of the baking sheet. It’s definitely not thick. I sprinkle oil between the layers. I use the oil mixture I prepared. I’ll make the center part with cheese. You can make this börek with spinach, potatoes, or ground meat, whatever you prefer . I’ll enlarge the center part a little on my hand. Then, I slowly pull the edges to enlarge it. It will naturally roll out. After rolling out a piece of dough, I sprinkle the center with the cheese mixture I prepared . I mixed the cottage cheese and feta cheese . I also sprinkled a little butter for flavor . I continue rolling in the same manner. After preparing the börek, I pour the remaining butter mixture over it. Then, using a knife, I cut it as shown in the video. If you prefer, you can put the börek directly in the oven without cutting it. Let it rest for about 10-15 minutes. Then, bake the börek in a preheated oven at 160 degrees Celsius (350 degrees Fahrenheit) until nicely browned on top. After cutting, I let it rest for about 15 minutes. I baked it in a preheated oven at 170 degrees Celsius (350 degrees Fahrenheit). It makes a delicious börek that resembles baklava. I’ve reached the end of another video and another recipe.
