Today we’re trying Trader Joe’s cornbread stuffing and vanilla bean whipped sweet potatoes. Are these Thanksgiving worthy? Let’s find out. I paid $5.99 each. This is cornbread stuffing with roasted apples, sweetened dried cranberries, and savory herbs. For our full daily dose of microplastics and leech plastic, we’re microwaving these 2 to 3 minutes. I’m going three. I haven’t been to Trader Joe’s in a long time, so I was a little overwhelmed with all the interesting products they had. And between them and Aldi, I picked up like 20 new things to review. Give yourself an extra 20, 30 minutes, maybe two, three days to get all this plastic off. The sweet potatoes have a great texture. They remind me of whipped cream or whipped butter. Super light and airy. This is sweet, but it’s supposed to be. All the flavors blend very well, but I don’t really taste the vanilla. I’m not a big fan of sweet potatoes, but even I can appreciate this. It’s pretty good. Okay, I didn’t see this coming, but I really like this stuffing. This is mostly savory with a little sweet. I see the cranberries, but I don’t really taste them that much. And I don’t taste any apple. I can tell it’s cornbread, but I’m glad it’s not too sweet. I don’t think I’d like that. I think next time I’ll add a little celery salt to it, but this is solid as is. Both of these are totally Thanksgiving worthy. 85 stuffing.

I also like taking these kinds of frozen things out of the plastic to microwave in a glass dish. Almost zero more effort, and easy storage in the fridge afterwards (can be stacked).
Filipino person here – please try the Trader Joe's Filipino style adobo. I see Filipinos on socials hating it, but I'd love to hear a more neutral response.
