Spaghetti-o sauce is a tomato cheese sauce that is why the color is so pale. It also has a lot of added sugar. I can't eat it as an adult
I love SpagettiOs!! I haven't eaten them in forever though. Your's look delicious!! I didn't know you could buy the O pasta. We live near Little Italy in San Diego so I'm going to check it out 🤩 My boyfriend loves Mongolian BBQ. Could you please make it so we won't be intimidated to make it? My nearly 15 year old husky loves him some Spaghettios with meatballs. Though he prefers homemade spaghetti, lasagna, fried chicken, steak, pretty much anything I’m willing to eat. I do not eat dog food. Neither does his daddy, my husband. Don’t think he hasn’t been paying attention. Silly you if you do.
Yes, we know that chocolate, onions and garlic are not good for the canine diet. Though we didn’t hear about garlic and onions were just as bad as chocolate for dogs until a few years ago. Unfortunately, it was too late when we did. Right about the same time we found out that nightshade fruits, (tomatoes are not the only ones) are bad for arthritis. We tried really hard to eliminate those things from his diet, only for him to steal our dinners from us. 😂
Look, he’ll turn 15 in June, if Boo Bear wants spaghetti for dinner, he gets spaghetti for dinner. I’m not about to tell my grumpy old man dog that he will eat dog food (regardless of the cost/good reviews) if he doesn’t want to and he doesn’t want to.
Did I mention fried chicken? Seriously his biggest favorite, after whatever wild life he used to encounter in his backyard and would catch, kill and eat the old fashioned way until a couple of years ago. I guess he never really liked dog food… not really surprised. Huskies are so much fun! 😂
Needless to say, Boo Bear gets food with flavor or he will refuse to eat. No chocolate, but flavor is necessary and I can’t argue with my stubborn Grumpy Old Husky. Also, shortbread cookies are his favorite cookies.

Fun fact! Not really but my opinion 🤣 there's no difference between the meatballs and the franks in the spaghetti-os! It's the same thing! I don't think i can bad mouth either. I grew up on them. It's not great but its kinda edible. Only now i get major heartburn just opening the can!😂👍 Im old!😅

nope. you made red sauce and put it on ring noodles. sadly the name betrays it bc sphagettio is closer to a thick tomato cheese soup (enzime modified cheddar cheese to be exact , sounds yummy i know ) than a red sauce. meatballs were fire tho.
I was surprised that the can actually had a decent number of meatballs. I was not surprised they are dog food balls.
I don't believe I've ever even tried spaghetti ohs… I've always been a Chef Boyardee Ravioli kinda guy. But I'm totally going to try your recipe.

Looks amazing! The only thing I would do differently is liquify the sauce to match the texture of Spaghettios. Definitely inspired to try this out.

The canned stuff is for children. Of course as an adult, that canned stuff taste like garbage and homemade will always win if using fresh ingredients. Good recipe though, although for me personally, I'd leave out the vinegar.

If you want better meatballs. You need to cook them on a rack with baking dish, parchment paper to catch the drippings at 350 until done and browned all around. So much tastier…
I like them Frank and "o"s, theys the best.
I like it, but I'm not sure regular Italian spaghetti and meatballs, just with hoops is going to hit the nostalgia button like I want. Don't get me wrong I would eat it and I'd love it and I wouldn't complaint one little bit.

Big woop, you made f*** pasta and meatballs, not spaghettios. Spaghettios is a smooth sauce, with whatever you want to call those for meatballs
