Good to see you back Meme! These are my favorite green bean casserole. I made these for my kids when they were growing up. Adds so much flavor to plain green beans!! And we love BACON!! 🥓 And love it when you say “shine for Jesus” ! Also, I have been putting off having a knee replacement, scared of the surgery, but I said to myself “If Meme can do it, maybe I can!” You are doing great after your surgery.

the recipe looks good but the bbq sauce would not be good for me as i am diabetic so i would have to change the sauce to something more diabetic friendly

I came back here to say your video changed my relationship with green beans for life!!! I took your idea, eliminated the bacon, and instead used a honey and bourbon marinade (closest thing to BBQ), and the chopped onions. Then after baking 20 minutes, I topped the dish with cheddar and fried onions and baked 10 minutes until browned. Best green beans I’ve ever had!!!
