Çeyrek çay bardağı yağ
4-5 adet sivri biber
Welcome to Elif’s kitchen. Today I want to share with you a very delicious eggplant with meat in the oven recipe that you can easily make. First of all, let’s peel about a kilo of eggplant and cut it into rings one finger wide as you see in the video.

Put the chopped eggplants in a deep bowl, add a dessertspoon of salt and enough water to cover them. Cover it with a lid and let it sit for 20 minutes to release the bitterness. Meanwhile, let’s prepare the meat for our meal. 1-2 tablespoons of oil in a pressure cooker

And a tablespoon of butter and melt it. Put about 750 grams of cubed beef on the melted oil. Roast over high heat, stirring occasionally. As you can see, the meat started to turn color and started to release its own juice.

Roast it over high heat, stirring occasionally until it completely absorbs its own juice. As you can see in the video, the meat completely absorbed its own juice. At this stage, we can turn the heat down a little. Add 2 medium-sized onions, chopped into half moons.

Continue roasting over medium heat until the onions soften slightly. Then add a dessertspoon of pepper paste, Let’s continue roasting for another minute or two. Peel and coarsely chop 3 medium-sized tomatoes and add them to the mixture. Chop 4-5 pieces of garlic coarsely and add them.

Add 1 dessertspoon salt, 1 teaspoon black pepper and 1 teaspoon thyme. I have added it. Continue roasting for a few more minutes. Then add 1 cup of hot water. Stir Close the lid of the pressure cooker. After the pot whistles Let it cook over low heat for about 25 minutes.

While the meat is cooking, let’s prepare the eggplant. Put the eggplants in a colander and let them drain well. Then place it on the baking tray greased with 2 tablespoons of oil. Add a quarter cup of vegetable oil on it, Let’s mix it well so that it gets oil all over.

The better we oil the eggplants, the better they will fry. Then place the eggplants on the tray in a single row. I added 4-5 green peppers on top. Again, grease the peppers well. And place the peppers in the gaps left on the tray.

I prefer to roast the eggplants in the oven to make the dish lighter. You can also fry it in oil if you like. Then in a preheated oven at 225 degrees, Let the eggplants cook until lightly browned. It does not need to be very browned, lightly browned will be enough.

I took the roasted eggplants out of the oven. Put the peppers on top to decorate the dish. Then let’s take the eggplants into the tray where we will make the dish. I used a large size round pyrex. Let’s spread the eggplants nicely on the pyrex.

Meanwhile, the meat in the pressure cooker is cooked. Remove from the stove, cool the pot and open the lid. As you can see, our meat is cooked very well, it should be cooked to a consistency that is good to eat. Then on top of the eggplant, Pour the meat and spread it evenly.

Place the roasted peppers on top. Wet 1 piece of greaseproof paper and crumple it in the palm of your hand. Place it on the dish. Then in a heated oven at 180 degrees, Let the eggplants cook until soft. I cooked it for about half an hour.
