wake up the day after the election if Trump won and have their rights Stripped Away that democracy would crumble and the president said today we’re going to be okay so how do how do you swear that the American people made the decision there was an election two nights ago there was and it was a free and fair election and we respect the election process which is the administration’s way of saying Trump was never the danger they claimed he was Steve Hilton Tommy Laren have thoughts on that meantime brand new information on the chaos behind the campaign as the Democrat blame game now in high gear they have no coordination they didn’t they didn’t talk I never even had a conversation with the lady can you imagine blaming Joe Biden for her loss she lost a couple of Harris surrogate will take us inside the chaos and how a man from Virginia may very well have flipped Pennsylvania red but we begin with the greatest political comeback in American history Aisha hosney is live in West Palm Beach with the latest on the president elect Aisha good evening Trace good evening to you the president elect making some headlines today with his chief of staff pick he has chosen Susie Wilds as now the first female Chief of Staff in US history if you don’t know that name don’t know who she is she’s a big name in Washington Circle she’s a longtime political operative running campaigns here in Florida even getting praise from Democrats she was Trump’s campaign co-chair and I’ve spent some time with her she cares deeply about the president elect in fact he had some high praise for her today calling her tough smart Innovative and universally admired and respected meanwhile Trace there’s still thousands of positions to be filled and plenty of jockeying Happening Here in Palm Beach Trump allly Senator Tom Cotton actually has told Fox that he has now taken himself out of the selection process for any cabinet position but Senator Marco Rubio is not closing the door on perhaps Secretary of State I’m going to work with the Trump Administration whatever capacity they feel is best I’m not presumptuous to say they’re going to pick me Donald Trump makes that decision and he makes good decisions about the people that work for him I’ve not talked to them about it lots of other names out there but Trump I can tell you has previously said that he would let RFK Jr go wild on healthc care so some kind of a health care position there for him and also Elon Musk would be able to lead a new department for government efficiency basically to gut government so more to come in the next around him were people who were trying to undermine him and stop him from doing what he promised this time around that’s not going to happen you’re going to have people who are there to deliver the agenda that he ran on and that the people voted for Susie Wilds absolutely fantastic choice i’ I’ve seen them together he really respects her she’s a steady hand she’s going to keep the the ship going in the right direction and the final thing we just have to note this appointment the first female Chief of Staff in history from the man who apparently doesn’t like being surrounded by strong intelligent women what a joke and still Tommy the the left is already angling right and Van Jones is saying oh Trump’s going to end up picking the worst of the worst here he is this historic level of of victory for Trump when he gets the the White House the Senate possibly the house the Electoral College the popular vote everybody’s going to be willing to go and serve so he could pick from the best of the best but the worst of the worst are lining up and that’s a concern meaning the resistance is well underway Tommy yeah it sounds like van Jones is a pretty sore loser to me sounds like a lot of sour grapes going on in liberal media right now that’s okay it’s great for entertainment purposes only but I’ll tell you this Donald Trump as Steve said he’s got a great team around him now it’s his team he understands the way the system works now and I’ve never heard of a president that goes into office especially on a second term when this is going to be termed out for him and says you know what I want to do I want a government efficiency program because I want to make government smaller it goes contrary to everything they said he was going to do unfettered power he’s going to do whatever he wants he’s going to be a dictator on day one well he shattered that notion he picks a woman as his chief of staff a strong powerful woman which he has always done he has always surrounded himself with strong women kellyan Conway being one of them in the early days of the campaign so again Donald Trump is shattering all their Notions they’re going to have nothing to cry about they’re just going to have to sit back and watch America get great again yeah and it’s interesting because picking up on what Tommy was saying there Steve is I want to play some sound because this is President Biden on Sunday before the election and then today watch I give you my word I think to that I mark my words if he wins this nomination I mean excuse me this election Watch What Happens it’s a danger he’s a genuine danger to American Security the American experiment endures we’re going to be okay so apologize it was August 11th the first one but still there was this whole this I mean come on how many times can you call the guy Hitler and a threat to democracy and then say ah it’s going to be fine it’s so pathetic I mean it’s just revealed how ridiculous it all was in the first place and also I mean I’ve got to say I’m G to I’m going to acknowledge cat timy she made This brilliant point about all the journalists right they were going on TV saying you know we’re going to be locked up in camps if Trump gets in and she made the point that if anything they’re under reacting to this why are they even in public cuz Trump’s coming after them to lock them up it just reveals how utterly pathetic that they had nothing positive to say they had a dreadful candidate who’s a total disaster all they had was these ridiculous over-the-top smears the voters saw through it on Election Day and now we all can and and here’s the thing Tommy I’m running out of time here but I want to play this back and forth between Karine jeanpierre and Jackie Hinrich example is the message to people who are fearful based on what the messaging was about the state well now you’re just twisting everything around and that’s really unfair no it is no no no Jackie it’s unfair because I’ve been standing here trying to be very respectful to what happened the last two nights uh two nights ago W called him Hitler a few times you’re Twisted come on what’s a few Hitlers here and there Tommy so here’s what I think has happened here it was such a decisive victory for Donald Trump that the left is really put in a difficult spot because you can’t hate everyone everywhere all the time for any reason and when you see groups showing out to vote for Donald Trump that never voted for Donald Trump before and never voted Republican before and you see them coming out in droves the Democrats have to realize that and I think they’re smart and they’re wise to drop the whole charade of Donald Trump such a bad horrible man because they realize how many Americans voted for him you can’t hate all of America you can hate segments of it which they have done but you can’t hate so many Americans that voted for Donald Trump just not possible for them and they yeah and they realize we’re lying so maybe we bomic uh it really is tragic and a great reason why the Democrats continue to lose key parts of their demographic base because surprise surprise nobody wants to be told that they’re stupid that they’re racist that they’re sexist because they don’t like your policies Jason I know you like sunny hustin but I don’t have her for you but I do have Joy Reed who’s scolding Latinos watch most of them voted in a 55% majority to make the deportations happen y’all voted with Steven Miller and David Duke and against your own sisters and chose kamla who chose KLA Harris with 60% of their votes so you own everything that happens to your mixed status families and to your wives sisters and abas from here on in racist Latinos Jason so I love the strategy of blaming Latinos or young people or black voters right after they said we want nothing to do with you because you’re insane so the whole idea that you’re now going to double or triple or quadruple down on attacking the very people who have Donald Trump as the 47th president of the United States was a terrible night for everyone who voted against him and guess what it was a bad night for everyone who voted for him too you just don’t realize it yet I remember when they were funny ever remember when these guys actually got paid to be funny oh yeah uh it was actually not that long ago even back when I used to watch late night but I got to ask bad night what about the last four years were those not bad I mean we had a cratering economy every job that was created went to a foreign worker inflation through the roof still not below levels of when Biden took office by the way a an invasion at the southern border taking American jobs and destroying communities you have a housing crisis where it’s unaffordable there’s a shortage and the world is on the brink of a World War I think a bad night is something that most Americans would be happy to have uh as opposed to a bad four years yeah uh that’s a good point so meantime uh Brian stelter who apparently is back over at CNN just learning this now Jason uh he wrote this piece the headline is Trump’s return to power raises serious questions about the media’s credibility and of course as always the peace does nothing but slam Trump will the Trump Administration turn his words against the Press into actions will he move to revoke licenses for TV stations as he has suggested more than a dozen times this year it’s not the media it’s back to Trump Jason yeah the media sycophant over there who just loves the idea that other anchors might actually look at him so you shouldn’t have even said his name cuz that actually gets him really excited that he’s relevant this idea that the media doesn’t want to take any ownership whatsoever and just turn this on Trump I have a serious question CNN ratings are in the toilet at what point do they realize what it is they’re doing isn’t actually working maybe if they all got out of their little Echo chamber and like talk to normal people not the assistants that they berate every day for not bringing the write oat milk in their latte and actually understand where people are coming from maybe then they’ll actually be able to speak to the audience and get them to tune in or to click on their links or read their newspapers it is such a novel thought maybe they’re watching and and might pick it up Jason Amber thank you values the same future or to the same enemies and I believe that the president and his new team will support us when we fight evil you know we have so many fronts you know but it all goes to Iran so I think the main question is who will be sitting next to the president dealing with the Iranian question because all the problems we have today in the Middle East all comes from tan yeah you you talk about the Iranian question there and I’m wondering because now there is concern that Iran could attack Israel and attack Israel from Iraq the United States has already warned Iraq not to let that happen what do you think about that scenario so I think the situation now is very very problematic because our enemies believe that because of the transition period here in the US they can take advantage of that that and mainly Iran they can attack Israel you know it will take time for for the transition in months and a half and after that also it will take time to put the right people in their positions so on that period we pay attention and I would divise the Iranians not to make that mistake we are ready we are watching what they are doing and we are already proven to them our ability to Target any destination in Iran so they should not make that mistake what do you think about Trump being elected and Hamas coming out and saying they want an immediate end to this war well Hamas you know they’re almost finished we are moving forward and I believe you know sooner than later we will complete the mission finish the job finish with those terrorists and we have to remember we still have 101 hostages including American citizens in captivity we will go all the way to bring them back home and I hope it will be sooner than later yeah and lastly I’m just curious what do the people of Israel what do they think of the former president becoming the future president well you know we are not getting involved in politics in the US but the majority of Israelis supported the president Trump you know they remembered what he did during his first term when he stood with Israel mainly pulling out from the Iran deal and moving the embassy to Jerusalem and that’s why I said we Trace good evening to you you know I’m from the Philly area and if you point the finger at somebody here they are pointing it right back and that includes Philly’s Democratic party chair former Congressman Bob Brady he told Fox news’s Brian yenis today that the Harris campaign neglected the city the national campaign nothing zero they had no respect they no coordination they didn’t even do the right thing as far as giving us the resources that we need and they want to blame us and now I understand somebody ever Camp was blaming Joe Biden can you imagine blaming Joe Biden for her loss she lost he didn’t lose well the Harris campaign hit back on that stating that they knocked over 2 million doors in PA quote which is 2 million more doors than Bob Brady’s organization can claim to have knocked during his entire tenure as party chairman now Brady added that the start studded concert that Harris held in Philly on Election Eve was a waste and just ended up annoying people by causing traffic and Democrats they’ve also been dealt another loss here in this state with the Associated Press uh naming uh Republican Dave McCormick as the winner in that tight Senate race uh give me some lawn signs could you imagine could you imagine can you imagine blaming Joe Biden for her loss she lost he didn’t lose matter of fact I think he might have won if he stayed on the ticket how about the candidate maybe there’s something wrong there yeah he also says that nobody actually contacted him nobody from the campaign contacted him it’s kind of surprising uh Lindy because you would think that would be that would be step one Trace thank you so much for having me I was actually speaking with Congress and Brady today and I was with him um he’s right vice president Harris didn’t actually speak a long time with him they met for a brief photo op but that was essentially it that was the day that she announced that she would be picking Tim Walls as her vice presidential pick which still believe was a fundamental error I think that was the beginning of a Cascade of stumbles that led to the outcome that we saw on Tuesday and I want to tell you we on the midst of a meltdown and and if the party is just going to vilify anyone who has the courage to stand up and say what needs to change we are going to keep Lo losing if we don’t recognize that America has finally shifted to the right that we’ve we’re undergoing a right word shift we’re going to keep losing we cannot keep indulging The Fringe of the party at the expense of the American people yeah and meantime Scott Pressler me you you and your team you were on the ground in in Pennsylvania and you were registering tens of thousands maybe hundreds of thousands of people during this whole stint yes thank you trace my organization early vote action we had 74 paid full-time staff across Pennsylvania’s 67 counties and I can tell you that this cycle alone we contributed 50,000 new voters to Pennsylvania and knowing that 2020 was decided by 880,000 that number is very significant and it helped flip eie Northampton uh give us gains and lour and ultimately Bucks County Pennsylvania that helped decide the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania yeah in the meantime Lindy you were talking about Bob Brady and you talked to him today or recently and I’m interested because you brought it up the whole idea that KLA Harris chose Tim Walls and maybe she should have chosen Josh Shapiro do you think because the truth is I mean that might have helped in Pennsylvania but they still lost Michigan and they still lost Wisconsin right um first my first calculation that would have been a tremendous help but given the extent of the loss it was a as I said earlier it was a red wedding style defeat it was a catastrophe this wasn’t a squeaker it wasn’t a margin it wasn’t a margin of error race she resoundingly lost and we really have to be introspective and realize that we cannot just call Americans racists and bigots and say that that is the reason why kamla Harris lost there are other reasons that we can go into but you can’t just vilify the entire country it doesn’t work like that and that’s not conducive to a productive conversation and you’re going to keep losing if you alienate the voters and I’m wondering Lindy if you can give me I know you said there’s a multitude of reasons there but can you give me one what do you think is a significant reason how the campaign could have done better in Pennsylvania well I’m going to say one thing and I think I might um it’s kind of reot in my party there a lot of things you can’t say as a Democrat right you’re going to get cancelled but I just want to say I’m a naturalized American I’m very proud and thankful to be in this country being American is the greatest thing that’s ever happened to me and I don’t want millions of people pouring through our country through the southern border vly willy-nilly my family and I came the right way we came from England we filed an app and we waited and we brought valuable skills my family has created hundreds of jobs American jobs so it’s not fair for people to just jump the line because they want to we need an orderly process and unfortunately the Democratic party we are right now it’s it’s almost people will condemn you if you do not support very LAX immigration policies yeah and that’s exactly right Scott I want to go back to you because you were talking about numbers I want to put these up this is Democrat votes in Pennsylvania from 2020 to 2020 24 you can say they increased there or actually they dropped by about 100,000 votes now you go to Republican votes in Pennsylvania 2020 21 24 and the Republicans actually increased by 100,000 the Democrats lost Republicans increased you said you had 50,000 people registered voters there so you can take credit for part of this I mean that that’s that’s a new strategy for the Republican Party well we built a really robust coalition of veterans and gun owners fraternity brothers and sorority sisters we even included our beautiful omish across the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and truckers we were just courting voters that agreed with our values we got them registered to vote and we ultimately got them out to vote and I’m very proud to say that our numbers in 2024 even eclipsed Joe Biden’s numbers in 2020 in Pennsylvania yeah I mean uh an emergency special session to protect California’s liberal policies from Trump does he not realize that 10 counties in this state just flipped red that Californians overwhelmingly voted for prop 36 reversing softon crime policies C maybe turning m not red maybe a little bit more purple and new some definitely seeing red next well clearly shaken by the election outcome California governor Gavin Newsome now calling a special session of the state legislature to quote Safeguard California values in the face of an incoming Trump Administration Christina Coleman is live with more on that story full authority of my office to address Injustice to stand up for all people especially those who have been long overlooked and undervalued meantime Republicans say Democratic leaders have overlooked and undervalued the needs of Californians they say it’s also showing in the polls Republicans flipped 10 California counties red this election whether you care about the affordability crisis the homeless crisis crime that has been plaguing our streets or the education that is failing our children California Democrats have failed on every every single one of those issues that are important to said the following watch does anybody move the needle like Taylor Swift does there are now a slew of headlines about planned campaign stops and endorsements from Bruce Springstein to Jennifer Garner all campaigns want celebrity endorsements analysis from Harvard University’s ash center shows it works and it’s quote incredibly powerful so powerful I mean who cares who cares if celebrities come out of indors you and I say why why do you are you so self-important that you got to come out and you got to kick in Harrison Ford who cares I I mean I I also don’t understand look I understood it back in the day but this is a very different election I feel like this was first of all they’re only running on Reproductive Rights which even hearing men talking about it it’s like the whole country is on fire the whole world’s on fire and they’re focused on Reproductive Rights which I mean a vote for commo would have been putting 300 white men in office in power giving her her marching orders and so he’s so out of touch way this announcement he made was designed to make money he was raising funds for whatever the heck he’s trying to do um he’s not trying to do anything to help Californians he’s completely out of touch yeah I I think that’s right uh Los Angeles Times writes this Carl Golden State voters held unusual power in the National fight this year with the suburbs of Orange County the Central Valley’s Farm belt and desert communities around Palm Springs and Lancaster playing an outsize role in shaping the next Congress I mean this was significant Carl people have written off
