Hello, people of taste, welcome to my channel and kitchen. Today I came with a very practical dinner recipe. Its name is Belen pan, one of the wonderful tastes of our eastern region. It is very practical, I would definitely recommend you to try it.

I use a shallow cast iron pot that I will make at home in a cast iron pot. This way I will ensure that it cooks evenly. If you do not have a cast iron pan, you can also make it in a glass tray with a lid.
Since I don’t eat mutton, I prefer veal, I cut it from the entrecote part. You can also use mutton or lamb, but you will need to keep the cooking time a little shorter. Since I will be using veal, it will take a little longer.
I use about 15 small onions, I will use 4-5 cloves of garlic. I will use paprika and green chili. I recommend using 2-3 tomatoes, I will chop them with their skins peeled. I take the chopped meat directly into the pan, as you can see, I do not wash it.
Please use the meat without washing it, in this way, we prevent the production of bacteria. The reason why I put the meat in the pan beforehand is because I let the meat come to the room, this is very important in the flavor of meat dishes.
Now I’m starting to prepare other materials, I’m showing you quickly. I’ll use the onions whole and the garlic cut into several chunks. This is how I chop vegetables, not small, but the size of meat. A very easy, very simple dish. After obtaining the meat, the others are materials that are already at home.
After peeling the tomatoes like this again, I chop them coarsely. Yes, all the vegetables are ready, we can prepare the leftover meal. I add onions and garlic, divide the garlic into 2-3. Green peppers and red peppers… and finally the tomatoes… Now it’s time to prepare the sauce , 1 tablespoon of tomato paste
In a deep bowl . 1 tablespoon of chili paste. 1/2 cup of vegetable oil, I prefer olive oil. Next comes the seasonings, 1 teaspoon of black pepper, 2 teaspoons of thyme, you can also use different spices according to your taste. You don’t have to follow all the rules. Salt according to your taste.

At the end of the time, I check whether the meat is cooked or not, if it is, I cook it for another 15 minutes with the lid open. If the meat is not cooked, I continue to cook it with the lid closed until it is cooked.
When I checked the meat after 1 hour and 15 minutes, I saw that it was cooked. I put it in the oven to cook for the last 15 minutes with the door open. 15 minutes later, here is the magnificent view, friends. Belen pan ready to serve immediately after the first heat has passed!
