  1. Legit question. Why do we need extra protein added to chicken which already has enough?
    So a 3 ounce chicken tenderloin may have about 20ish grams of protein and you know you gonna eat 3 pieces at 60 grams. We only need about 65 grams a day for a 170 pounder who is not a body builder or gym rat. You are going to pick up extra protein from other things throughout the day. Yes I strive to eat as healthy as I can at 62yrs and I do fry foods, just don't see the need to waste money on a product that the industry has me believe I need. Plus high protein is not good for your kidneys or someone who already has kidney problems.

  2. I completely agree about restaurants making a change to the processes of their food. Thanks for mentioning that. I'm a T1D and have had weight issues all my life. I've lost weight in the past, but recently have just plateaued in my weight loss journey again. I appreciate the new recipes and look forward to preparing for myself and family. Abrazos!!!

  3. To be let me help to to ensure this works even BETTER.
    Put another bowl of just protein powder OR lupine powder. Traditional frying method. Dip in the regular protein/lupin first. Then dip egg then your final coating. It will stick better. Also. I’d do 50/50 pork panko to protein, pork panko is a must. You’re welcome.😅

  4. Little trick: I love to remove that thick “tendon” when I make chicken tenders. I grab a hold of the big end with my thumb and index finger, and, while still holding it, slide it into the tine of a fork and pull. Sure you’ll get the whole tendon out, and end up with 2 pieces of chicken tender, but that gross “rubber band” tendon will be gone and you will be left with delicious, tender chicken!

  5. I was eating so clean for like a year and a half, then I let people tell me I was being excessive, orthrexia or whatever. But I feel worse now. I’m going back to hard core no seed oils! I’m too old, my body hurts too much! You’re right, it’s not a treat to treat our bodies bad
