I used to make this for a boyfriend, who was in the army, as he loved American coffee cake. He would share it with the guys in his office. I made one, and it looked sooo good, I nicked a slice of it….thank the lord I did, as I put salt instead of white sugar in it!!!😅

I make a similar coffee cake but I use two eggs, and I double the streussle and add chopped pecans. I cover the pan and put it in thr refhr overnight. While it is baking I make a bout a cup of caramel and pour it over the cake when I tske it out of the oven..that wssn't in the receipe I just fo it.

Two children were killed with a hook like that. I’d throw it away. Ppl don’t realize when they buy some tool like that what evil ppl do with them.

Coffee cake brings back memories! It was the second thing I attempted to make when I was a teenager in the 70's. Everyone in the family loved it. It gave me cooking confidence. I haven't made a coffee cake in…since forever. I'll give this one a go! Thanks, Catherine!
