Always cook the potatoes and mash them before putting into the other ingredients of the soup,also,NOT enough thick cream…and much to thick.

There was a local restaurant that used to have a five onion bisque that I adored. Of course, it's not on the menu anymore. This is the closest thing I've seen to that, so I think I'm going to have to make it.
