“Making my Wife the most Viral Recipes of the Year!” üzerine 29 yorum

  1. Just like to thank you and Mrs B for all the entertainment throughout the year. I only wish I had discovered you earlier. My favourites were the gadget tests (including the machines [ginga etc and your charity shop finds] also the videos where you use one item to try to make things they weren’t designed for {Will it waffle? Comes to mind}and the hacks. I must admit I miss seeing the kids. Hearing their comments on your cooking creations was often quite funny.
Looking forward to seeing more from you in the coming year
    Happy new year

  2. It's funny that Mrs B brings up "spicy milkshake" when thinking about Korean strawberry milk. Did she get to taste Tom Scott's strawberry gochujang hot-sauce ice cream, back when that collab was recorded? Given the association she made, I wouldn't be surprised if she had a scoop herself.

As for strawberry leaves, while a lot of people throw them away, I usually eat them. They're perfectly edible, soft enough to chew, and have decent nutrients in them, even if they don't taste of much. I wouldn't go out of my way to exclusively eat them, but I'm not gonna throw them away.

Lasagna soup sounds like something you'd hear in a Day Job Orchestra video. One can only imagine what Garfield's opinion on it would be.

  3. That is not irony. A guinea pig eating what actual guinea pigs eat is the exact opposite of irony.

Edit: I see you used it incorrectly multiple times in this video, so I feel the need to write what irony actually means! 😛 Irony means the exact opposite of what you expect. Think a fire hydrant on fire, a dog meowing like a cat, a murderer saving someone. Most of the things you called "ironic" were actually coincidental. Irony is not coincidence.

  4. Happy New Year to you and the family! And thank you for the lasagna soup idea. I live alone and make lasagna in a pan that is too short for the noodles, I have to break them to fit. I always have a ziploc of noodle bits in the cupboard, what a great use for them! Thanks Barry, for the great ideas and the hours of entertainment.

  5. First; Happy new year! To you and your family 🎆🎉
I was thinking, with the wrap, perhaps you need to roll it while still pretty hot, like those roll up cakes. Also, maybe your oven runs a bit high or the wrap needs less time, as it seemed brittle/thin indeed and the other one looked somewhat thicker, so more batter might work as well if combined with a lower temp to prevent burning before inside is fully cooked. As im typing this, I realize you're probably not making it again anyway 😂 but you never know, perhaps with different ingredients as cottage cheese is definitely an acquired taste even for people that love cheese in general 🙈
