They look very tasty thank you for sharing be safe everyone
will you please try it with 100% whole wheat flour? that would be even more tasty and nutritious!
Thank you, thank you, thank you!!! Right now I have two "sets" of dinner rolls in the freezer because with a family of 3, we can't eat 12 biscuits. This will work really well for us. Thank you!
Do you teach or have a recipe for the soft apricot spread? It looks the way I want my spreads to look. Thank you. Now I know why my biscuits never rise they were squashed by the wrong cutter.
Thanks. I’m curious why you didn’t add the dry buttermilk in the flour mixture before freezing it? They are beautiful biscuits.
Your written mix is missing the butter
What a brilliant idea to grate the butter! I usually use tallow or lard, but I'm going to try this for simplicities sake! Yes, I have an old family scale, no electricity or batteries needed (in ounces, though – all the grams are killing me 😂😂😂). Thank you❤❤❤
Yum!
Bad thing is my mouth is watering too! lol
Why not mix the buttermilk powder right in the mix? It would make it even quicker and easier.
Great idea! Perfect for our family of two.
How do you make dry buttermilk
What a fantastic idea. Having it already in the freezer will make biscuit making so much easier. Thank you.
When I fold the biscuits I butter each layer.
Great video! Thanks for sharing!😊
Great recipe – but where do you find buttermilk flakes? So curious 🙏
Thank you for the great recipe.
Could you add the powdered buttermilk into the mix? Then you would only have to add water.
Thanks for a long enough intro so I can save the video to my recipes and hit the like button!
In Australia we call them scones they are so good jam and cream is my favourite
1st time viewer. Love your show!!
Vecenzo's Plate also s Napolitan Marinara. I'm glade to have this recipe because I'm partial to it because I was stationed in Naples for 3 years. I think he uses Cento San Marsano tomatoes.
Where would I get buttermilk flakes?
I think you might want to study up & stop “pushing” Ziplock polyethylene bags.
Yesterday, I read a new study that came out about the dangers of the significant rise of microplastics in dementia in the brain and body.
I think most all of us have pint jars or a pickle jar and vacuum packers.
Replacing plastic with glass for our “convenience” is much less important than keeping plastic out of the landfills and away from the corporate greed of a throw away society.
The long term cost to our families is scary, we need a brain more than major health issues. Best to spend the money on healthy foods than fill the wallets of the corporations.
I just watched your video on Borax. I'm surprised people are so scared of Borax . I used to drink Borax (not telling others do do that), but I'm big-time into eating healthy and natural ingredients. I did research for myself on Borax and drank it for personal reasons and I am still here many years later.
You're such a good teacher!
I freeze my store bought buttermilk and just measure 1 cup in each freezer bag. Don’t waste it any more. Takes up less room than putting it in ice trays and having to bag it up after it freezes. Also saves time.
A little tip: before grating the butter, roll the butter cube in the flour and also sprinkle a little flour on the grater, this prevents the butter from sticking to the grater and makes for easier clean up.
I also only cut biscuits in squares or diamonds. 👍🏻
I love the idea of freezing the mix! Thanks Pam!
This has made me so hungry!
Can you bake them and then freeze or does it ruin them?
Thank-you for the video. Not tried them yet, but they look like what in England, we call scones ( rhymes with stones). Like the idea of freezing quantities in advance. Today I bought my Seville oranges for making marmalade. Only available for a week or two at this time of year. Best wishes. C.
532pm do have a recipe for biscuits or bread that I can make using an electric skillet that is my only source for cooking at this time. Your so inspiring to me I love watching you. Thank you for your time and dedication.
