Hello, welcome to my channel. Today I’m here with a delicious baklava recipe that’s very popular. Enjoy! 3.5 cups of sugar, 3.5 cups of water, a thin slice of lemon and 1 tablespoon of lemon juice. Boil the syrup on low for 10 minutes and let it cool. 125 ml of milk, 125 ml of water, 125 ml of oil. 1 egg, 1 tablespoon of vinegar, 5 cups of flour, 1 package of baking powder, 1 pinch of salt. Knead until the dough is well combined, at least 5 minutes. Divide the dough into 12 pieces. Let the pieces rest for 10 minutes. Roll out the pieces with starch to the size of a dessert plate. I used cornstarch. Place a plastic bag between the dough pieces and let it rest for another 10 minutes. At this stage, let’s roll out the dough as much as possible. If you make a dough that is easy to roll out, it won’t be difficult for you. To keep the video short and concise, I’ll explain the important parts. I’ll show you how to roll out 1 piece of phyllo dough. I divided my rolled out phyllo dough into 4 pieces and as shown in the video. I shaped it. I used 150 grams of butter for the top. First, melt the butter and skim off any foam. Spread it on the dessert without letting it get too hot. Bake it in the oven at 165 degrees until golden brown.
