YASSS! So glad you finally featured Picanha! Grassfed Picanha is my go-to steak meal. People say Rib eye is the king of steaks, well, Picanha is the queen.♥ First had it at a little independent Argentinian churrascaria in VA back in 2018/19 & fell in love! No other cut of beef has so much beefy flavor, not even short ribs, which I also love. That fat cap is EVERYTHING! I always serve it with chimichurri, it complements the meat so well. But the grassfed version is a lot more than $10/lb at any store I've ever seen.

picanha is the modern flank steak and chicken wings. STFU, these cuts all used to all be affordable, soon as you hype them up the price follows, boned used to be free. Literally free. Now bone marrow has them being sold at $22/lb because one goober will buy it.

This is interesting! I’ve always assumed Guga’s devotion to picana was due to his nostalgia from eating it when he was growing up in Brazil because this cut of beef doesn’t look that good. I’m going to reconsider picana now. Nice work!
