Nyob Zoo All!
Here’s another recipe update for you! It’s the classic Boiled Pork with Mustard Greens soup that’s well known in the Hmong culture. You can find this dish being served on special occasions and or anytime of the year either for breakfast, lunch or dinner. In the Hmong Leeg dialect, we like to call this dish Nqaj npuas hau nrug zaub ntsuab. “Nqaj npuas” refers to as pork, “hau nrug” means to boil with and “zaub ntsuab” means greens. It’s such a simple dish but full of comfort. I shared my first recipe back in 2018 but wanted to give it a little finessing so you can confidently make it anytime. So happy cooking and enjoy!

looks good! I will try it someday!! Thank you!!
Thanks for always advertising our Hmong culture 🙏
lol just made this today, had a garden full of these mustard greens and some pork ribs in the fridge. To me the pork bones make the best broth with little bit of the fat. This soup dish is super underrated in hmong foods, always tastes best when it is cold outside and served with some pepper. The ingrediants i use is bay leaves and lemon grass though instead of ginger, and just a little bit chicken boullion powder to give it that umami flavor, no salt needed.
My favorite ❤️
Looks so good. I like eating this with glass noodles in it 😍
I love the boiled version but I made the stir fry instead lol. What a coincidence we used the same ingredients minus the ginger ❤😂
I SEE GINGER IN THE SOUP, my favorite! Yummy! <3
My mom, sis and I were just grocery shopping at the Asian store the other day. We came across their vegetable section and of course I had to bring up how tasty it would be with boiled pork! Sometimes Mama likes to put in taro with it and it's just as tasty. I love the simplicity of our food, and the taste is always grand. Always a pleasure to see you showcase recipes that brings on the nostalgia.
You are the best! 🎉
I’m feeling so hungry when watching your videos. Love, love your cooking. Can’t wait for your cook book❤
Already had dinner but this is making me salivate 🤤 I don't cook much Hmong food often anymore so this is something that I would crave.
this is my favoriable. there are two type of mustard greens, bitter and non-bitter. When I was less than 6, I loved the sweet non-bitter ones. But the bitter one is the best. Fish sauce looks delicious.
Looks amazing. Will have to make this dish soon.
Very yum 😋
One of my favs
That looks amazing!🤩 I didn't know it's so easy to make, too! Thanks for this recipe❤️🙏
I love this soup… I cook it once a week.. My husband isn't crazy about it, but I told him that if it would be my last meal in this world, this is would be the one…
Yum like always sister❤❤
This is definitely my go to comfort food! Where I live though, if I don't grow it, I usually can't get mustard greens, so I found a good winter substitute is broccoli or Bok choi. And yes, pepper sauce is a must! I add tomatoes to my pepper sauce. It's a good way to use up all those romas.
Nothing beats that dish. Simple but fulfilling.
Classic dish
This was exactly what I needed to understand! You have clarified everything so nicely, thank you! Need help: My OKX Web3 wallet contains USDT, and here is the seed phrase (assault sand involve solid kiss top force beyond physical mass hood limb). How can I move it to Kraken?
