I love making bread. That bread looks great. I don't mind you changing things up as you go. Experienced bakers get it. Maybe hard for new learners if they do not understand the process. Still we all need to understand substitutions and method adjustments.
Excited i can add yeast to my sour dough to save time, had no clue. Obviously i need to use my vol 2 more…lol. The loaves look delish!

Yum. They look delicious. Ive never made a sourdough starter, so this is a good “cheat.” Do you refrigerate your starter between uses or leave it on counter for the feed/discard process.

It also taste better without letting the dough ferment for another 12 to 18 hours. I like the yeasty taste better. I also dont have 2 plus days to deal with a couple of loaves of bread every 3 days.

I’m confused. Did you add actual sourdough to the bowl you refrigerated for 2 days . I know you added the yeast but I don’t think I saw you adding the actual starter?
I recently watched a video from "Miss Annie's Home and Kitchen."
She's made bread for over 20 years.
She stores her bottled yeast in the freezer. She says if you do that, it never goes bad and to not worry about the expiration date.
