Okay, so I didn't use the ginger snaps from dollar tree- I found some pumpkin spice snaps from Ollie's Army and used those, I also added a half a tub cool whip to the pudding, but my family went nuts for this- .. we are doing our Christmas this Saturday and I was requested to remake this dessert- it was so good and soooo easy!!! I love your channel, thank you for the easy and frugal ideas
Everything looks delicious and I was particularly impressed with the trifle and homemade caramel sauce. My only issue is with the ham/potato dish. It looked great, but the sodium content of the ham and seasoning mix of the potatoes has to be off the roof for those who are sodium sensitive.

Ive lived many many months even years sadly in places with only stovetop. Its challenging but if you have acess to a family member or friend or neighbor eith an over its generally not so bad. Love the videos that are very accessible to 99% of folks.

Thinking about your Thanksgiving casserole from this year. That ham. Those scalloped potatoes and some broccoli would make a great holiday casserole though it is an oven casserole. Could be made in the microwave though
This is a good meal for older adults who may be on a soft diet bc of problems chewing. It is all easy to consume, excepting the crackers, but that can be worked around
It would be interesting to see what you could do with special budget diets – diabetic, gluten free, dairy free, bean-free, etc.

Our kids came over, I made a chicken noodle casserole and cole slaw, they brought salad, dressing, and rolls. A friend gave us a box of chocolate pretzels, that was dessert. Five happy people, and we played games. Tina, Al's wife

also, some people are so poor that they have to cook over a fire becasue their homes dont have power for different reasons. One pot meals is the way to go for so many that dont have actual kitchens or utilities that are available.
There was a time when I had got laid off and times were very hard for me I wish her YouTube channel on Instagram channel was around because it would have made shopping at the Dollar Tree and cooking meals so much easier..
She really should think about making a Dollar Tree cookbook. Because it would help a lot of people out. Especially for people who choose cookbooks over watching recipes on the internet.

Hi, European here, I'm sorry for the probably stupid question, but the packets say 'jello' but you use the word pudding. Is jello the brand or am I misunderstand something here? (we don't really have jello where I live, it probably exists but I wouldn't know where to find it xD)

Better idea for the dessert. Blend or crush ginger snaps. Make a pie crust. And make a cheesecake. Super easy. Ditch the crackers. Or crumble them on the potatoes for crispy. 😅
