– 4 overripe bananas, peeled
– 2 eggs
– 60ml milk
– 120ml olive oil
– Sea salt
– 1 tsp ground cinnamon
– 1 tsp baking powder
– 1 tsp bicarbonate of soda (baking soda)
– 50g (1.7 oz) rolled oats, plus extra for sprinkling
– 120g plain (all-purpose) flour
– 110g wholemeal flour butter, to serve
Using a fork, mashthe bananas in a large bowl. Next, add the eggs, milk and olive oil, then whisk to combine well. Chuck in a pinch of salt, the cinnamon, baking powder and bicarb, as well as the rolled oats and both the flours. Give everything a good whisk until just incorporated, then pour the batter into the greased rice cooker bowl, and sprinkle more oats on top.
start the rice cooker for one cycle and then leave to rest once cooked in the rice cooker for 10 min.
like i said in the original video, you can replace the 2 eggs with another banana
Ooh, can you imagine adding wet walnuts and some of their syrup to banana bread like that? It'd be so fucking good. Less healthy, obviously, but who cares when you have banana walnut bread?
All the stress from counting every single calorie in everything on the internet is going to make those health nuts keel over decades before the rest of us.
floof powder, floof soda, AND cimmanim?
Spread it with honey butter or apple butter or sweetened cream cheese and viola, sweet and delicious and you can control the amount of sweetness with each slice 😋
My rice cooker made the easiest, most delicious lentil dahl.
1000 calories and every scared… meanwhile me just gonna eat it😅
i recommend raisins in banana bread 🙂
Sweetness is incredibly easy to replicate without adding calories. The amount of low calorie or 0 calorie sweeteners out there is insane. You should never feel like you can't eat sweet things when losing weight.
Unless you're scared of these chemicals i guess
Banana bread without chocolate chips is just banana-bread.
Oh hey, Liam finally found the kiwi chef corner of youtube. 🎉❤
It's banana bread not banana cake! So many recipes add too much sugar to banana bread.
Omg the calorie police really are everywhere.. like, I am sure they'll find a reason why we can't eat cauliflower soon.. 😅
As a part Italian, my mum (half Italian) did eat olive oil with everything when she was pregnant with my brother so yeah, we do drink that stuff. 😂❤
"Italians? They're healthy.. or something."
Actually true. Italy is one of the healthiest nations on earth.
> Sugar Free
> 1000 calories of oil
YES. ALSO WALNUTSSSSSSS.
I like Alice's Restaurant Banana Bread recipe…Google it, I'm lazy. Uses sour cream instead of milk and butter instead of oil and 3 cups of sugar! I suppose ya could sub full fat greek yogurt. A few other differences like 6 eggs and 6 bananas. It is so dang moist! I've gotta try it in my rice cooker!
Never use olive oil for baking jeez these non italians 😭 you use yummy tasteless seed oils for baking!
Meh… good enough
Looks really good – I’ll try this one. I’ll deffo add chocolate chips though! 😋
Italians exist on olive oil, red wine, and cigarettes and they seem FIIIIINE
i was just in italy a couple weeks ago, and i can confirm that their water fountains run olive oil
