An air fryer isn't actually frying anything it's just a miniature convection oven that sits conveniently on the counter.
So.. you're just making oven baked Mac & cheese in a mini convection oven which is the same cooking process you would use in a normal full sized convection or standard oven.
I'm not saying it isn't convenient to use a small oven over the full sized thing, but I'm just saying.. they're all the same thing lol
