Lastly the Bengali “Sylheti” inspired salad made with the fresh only a few ingredients to create the best salad condiment that you can enjoy at the comfort of your home..

Here are the ingredients list & instructions.

Lamb ribs 1kg
Lamb marinade:
1 tsp Turmeric powder | 1 tsp Chilli powder | 1 tsp Salt | Juice of 1/2 lemon
Cut your potato 8-10 small potato skin on and put in pressure cooker with 2 cups of water.
Pressure cook 10 mins high heat then 20 mins omn low heat then wait 10/15 mins before opening the lid.

Roasted potatoes:
After taking out of the pressure cooker add your seasoning:
Salt / pepper / oregano / olive oil
Air fry 20 minutes 180c

Wash 4 cups of brown rice and wash and let soak in cold water for ideal 30 mins before cooking.

4-6 tbsp the fat from lamb | 2 tbsp garlic paste | 1 tbsp ginger paste | 1 diced onion | 1 tsp Cumin seeds
Add rice and toast (2 mugful / 4 cups)
add 1 cup peas
add stock & water mix (2 & 2/3 mugful) about 5 cups
add 2 tsp salt | When water is absorbed by rice sprinkle 2.5 tsp ground cumin powder on top of rice then place the meat (after seasoning the meat) above rice before foiling.
Cook the rice 15 min low heat (dum cooking) | Then allow the rice to rest after turning gas off for 15 mins before eating.

Bangladeshi salad:
Slice one red onion | 2 chopped green chilli | 2 vine ripe tomato if large / 4 if small size tomato (de-seed & slice) | Chop handful coriander | 1 tsp fresh garlic paste | 1/2 tsp salt | PLEASE mix salad last minute to prevent soggy salad!

  1. I also find olive oil absolutely awesome and super fresh stuff I've heard is amazing as its actually a fruit- stay away from those awful compressed heated seed oils, (beeflamb tallow, coconut oil, butter, ghee ,EVOO- thats the way to go), medicinal fats are the way
