Can my COOKIE CUP actually hold HOT CHOCOLATE?

✨Recipe:
Ingredients:
• Cookie dough (store-bought or homemade)
• 4 oz baking chocolate, melted
• ¾ cup milk
• 2 tbsp hot chocolate mix
• Whipped cream, for topping

Directions:
1. Press cookie dough firmly into the sides and bottom of a 4-6 inch oven-safe ramekin or baking mold, creating a cup shape.
2. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 20 minutes, or until golden brown. Let it cool slightly, then carefully remove from the mold.
3. Melt the baking chocolate using a microwave or double boiler. Brush a thick layer inside the cooled cookie cup, covering all surfaces to prevent leaks. Let set until hardened.
4. Warm the milk in a small saucepan or microwave, then stir in the hot chocolate mix until smooth.
5. Pour the hot chocolate into the chocolate-lined cookie cup, top with whipped cream, and enjoy this warm, chocolatey masterpiece before it disappears! 😋☕

  1. Actually, I think this might work so much better if you take a German/European cookie recipe.

Far as I'm concerned American cookies are very soft and chewy by default like that's their main trait, whereas the cookies we make in Germany for Christmas are known to be hard like rocks and can stay pretty fresh for a long time. (Especially if you overbake them slightly until they turn from white to brown).

I think this is a brilliant idea, but just the wrong recipe.

  2. A suggestion for you to make a better cup using the cookie dough. Try out using a ring mold. (Like a cookie cutter) put cookie dough in the bottom of the spring form pan you're using, put the ring mold in the center and around the outside of that, place more cookie dough and bake. Snow is now it goes afterward. Good luck!
