My mom.used to add potatoes in mutton curry and we love it as all the flavors of mutton curry get in the potatoes and its delicious. Plus they break the monotony of mutton. I like it in chicken curry too

I have never had goat meat😮
But this looks very tempting
Delicious, delicious goat!!! Argh, it's frustrating: I would make this tonight if I could, but I've injured my back and the cooking will be taken up by my partner for a few more days yet. thank you for another great recipe!
Omg i miss my goat curry!!
Miss Bumbi the goat curry I had was "Jamaican" version but I believe that man actually cooked your style the potatoes were in there. And yes it was very spicy and me as a kid LOVED the spice, after all I ate a whole scot h bonnet pepper seeds and all.🤣🤣
Thank you bumbi for a beautiful curry recipe. Got to try that one. Looks amazing ❤
Bumbi, thanks once more for sharing your expertise, you have so much knowledge and experience it's great to watch your productions. You should mention to your audience that the bay leaves you use are NOT the same as the European/North American bay leaves, it was many, many years before I found out that there is a huge difference between the two. Thanks again for sharing.
Going to make this soon. Thanks so much. I agree that the potatoes are the best…I always add extra! Loved the tip about frying them so they don't break. 🙏🏻
Bengladeshi goat curry . mmmm… I love it with roti
Im calling the sugar police! Bumbi’s making mutton dessert! 😡😂
Bumbi, I swear I can smell it through the screen😅. I recently found out my local butcher started selling mutton and now MUST make this.
Oh my goodness. I can almost taste this while watching. It looks SO good. Thank you for including the instructions for traditional pressure cooker as this is what I have. Can’t wait to try this. Lamb is so scarce and expensive where I live but I love it so much I think I need an excuse for a treat ❤
Oh Bumbi, hello I am from Calcutta. Presently in Canada. Watching you cook weekend special made me homesick.
Bhalo thakish.
I watched this video asking myself, “Is the lighting adequate?” and yes, it was. If you added more light it would show all that gorgeousness even better but really not necessary ❤
/ Namoshkar! Your recipes are absolutely magnificent! 5:57
Thankyou For all you recipes. Lighting and everything is perfect ❤
Can you please share the link of your grinder ??
Yummy yummy mouthwatering!
Persian khoresh (stew) with curry!

Curry needs Mr Potato and I love mine with roti or rice. Looks delicious Bumbi!😋
Looks sumptuous 👍
This looks stunning. Thanks you 😊
Looks So Tasty 😋😋😋😋😋
I've never liked potato, but my husband loves it. I'll try making it half and half with kumera, native sweet potato in New Zealand.
thank you for making Indian cooking accessible! your curries are a staple at my house!
'I talked to Barzini' moment at 1:23 😂😂😂
Oh my God Bumbi, this looks totally appealing!
I most definitely agree with you that potatoes are absolutely necessary in any curry dish!
Super 👌 tasty
🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼❤
I agree, those potatoes look sooooooo good, because of that meat infused gravy.
Everything I expect from a Bumbi video: well-presented, lots of tips on how to do it right, and it looks like it would taste great! Your gentle presentation style, too.
Almost impossible to find mutton in the UK, and I think lamb is much less tasty. But I can occasionally get goat. The next time I do, Mr Potato is on standby!
😋, looks delicious. I love curried lamb with potatoes in it.
Yummy 😋😋😋😋
A bengali style mutton curry cannot be imagined without potatoes. Potato is a must
Potatoes are used in the south too, but is not fried at the beginning and so is added later on in the cooking. It is added to make the curry go further is the belief, but I am sure it adds creaminess to it also.
