For some reason, many of you have asked to see more of me cooking crap food in the Bugout Bunker Kitchen. Well, hold the turkey and the Christmas pudding because here’s more on my doomed attempt to find the ideal sandwich pairings for my gin. Warning: Involves a sandwich toaster.

Soon after, May retrieves the empty bean can, rinses and puts in recycling bin.
With all their great food, English snacks are horrible, imo.
Tonight James attempts to cook with cheese Hammond fails a driving test and i open a pub
Ham or salami and cheese in the toaster 🤤
Tonight dear readers, James may makes a cheese toastie with lurpak.
Toasted sandwiches are great. Amazing. James has made a total balls up of it, as usual, but done properly….. Great…
James could make cake frosting and Id watch
Love ya James. Merry Christmas.
The R101 was a disaster. Next time please the R100 with a pic of Barnes Wallis and Nevil Shute… real engineers
This is a man contractually obligated to make content, but who clearly doesn’t give a f
Now that's 12 minutes I will never get back lol 😂. Though I do always like a laugh with Jame's sense of humour.
Why do we enjoy watching this bloke? My wife asked me that and I had no answer for her. I will seek help.
Can't trust anyone who didn't like cheese…
I appreciate the rain bouncing off the counter almost as much as I don't appreciate that insipid attempt at a toastie
Fried Baked Beans is a new one!
You don't have to cut it, it does it for you
In case you just joined us,….
Good that you forgot the Worcester sauce.
A sprinkling of Maggi seasoning is much better on a toastie. Truly Scrumptious if you're doing a fried slice to hold up your tinned tomatoes.
I "liked" the R-101
How is such an intelligent man the first person ever to cut bread before putting it in a toastie maker?
Never not funny.
The jaffle maker doesn't require you to cut it, I miss having a jaffle maker but a toasted sandwich maker is fine enough.
The dripping bean juice is a feature.
I've always loved beans and bacon, never considered making it into a sandwich.
Canadian here, James. Yes, we have pork and beans in cans here. I like a bean sandwich, usually magarine on both sides and the molasses beans are my favorite vs maple syrup or tomato sauce. Your sandwich sounds interesting.
I've made bean juice on my baps and toasties…
James you do not cut the bread!
4:03 we got our very first triangularly-cut sandwich…it's a Christmas Miracle!
What about the gin?
Stop James. Just stop
Just go straight to the gin! Best advice ever!
English bacon looks suspiciously like ham.
The editing and sound effects are absolutely hilarious!
I have to say beans on toast is actually very good, now I have to try it with bacon. I apologize for my other knuckleheaded countrymen.
I Love Beans on Toast – Grated Onion and Cheese
Raw meat on a wooden cutting board. It’s cross contamination Mr May 😂😂😂
10:24 is a cracking shot! Bravo James & Lucy 😀
this is admittedly the first time seeing James May since watching him on television so many years back. The years have been exceptionally kind to him, he's looking fantastic and the facial hair really suits him.
That aside, it's wonderful to see he has a youtube channel, and even more wonderful to see that it seems to be mostly about sandwiches. I'm not a huge fan of tinned beans, but I'd happily give this a try, just maybe not with a sandwich press. Maybe just on a pan or something.
It was like watching Clarkson put together a CATERHAM 7. Merry Christmas 😊
I think most of the problems stem from putting soggy beans in anything with 'press' in the name.
I love my sandwich maker, but some advise, put down aluminum foil top and bottom helps cleanup.
Impossible to get the gin in Oregon….
It’s a sandwich maker. Not sure what you expected from it. We use them all the time
