I appreciate this review I always wonder about those packages of pre-made meals. I've seen the chicken taco kits, and Korean beef I'm super skeptical. It's super expensive too. My location also has a tahini chicken and chickpea bowl and for $25 I'm not risking it.

This is one of these meals where you can make a more flavourful and "better" version yourself in less than half an hour for less money. I’d bet you can make this for like 7-8 dollars max if you shop right. Pre made pasta dishes are rarely worth it.

Wine sauces really shouldn't taste like wine though. If they do, you haven't burnt off all the alcohol.
That sausage looks like kibble.
Not exactly new. Something they brought back after being gone for a while. I really like it. They are not skimming out on the sausage either which was a pleasant surprise.

the net weight is 3,3 lb or around 1490 gram and it costs $18. this meal is enough for 3 portions of meal so by doing low effort seasonings and additional toppings on our own, we can have fast meal pasta. to me this is worth at least 8/10 on the economical side
What if I only have aluminum foil??
I wonder if this would actually taste better as a cold dish, albeit with the additional seasonings & cheese(s) you had suggested, since you said it was already fully cooked anyhow.
Reminds me of a pasta salad one of my former friends used to make and served cold, and it was extremely tasty!
