Let’s make sizzler cheese toast together. Who remembers these? I scrolled the internet and found many copycat recipes saying it’s made with pecorino cheese. And immediately trying it, I knew. Mm-m. Definitely not. As I kept searching, I found one credible video and numerous comments from former Sizzlers employees saying, “It’s exactly what we thought it was. Good old Parmesan.” Man, this brings back memories. I haven’t seen this restaurant in years. If you still live near one that’s in business, please let me know where. Growing up, our family didn’t dine out much. We couldn’t afford to. But when we celebrated a special occasion or mom decided to treat us on a whim, wow, we were so excited. We drove right down the street to Pizza Hut or Sizzler. Can anyone else relate? For those of you who have never dined at one, Sizzlers offered an all you can eat salad bar.
