Ladies and gentlemen! Welcome to our
series of appliance of the month with Vestel. The appliance of this month is
Vestel Ziyafet Multicooker. The pressure cooking with steam power
was first invented in 1679 by French physicist Denis Papin. However, it took an incredible amount
of time to get from industry to homes. It wasn’t possible much to see
pressure cookers in use in houses almost until after the World War II. After the World War II, it has
become widespread specially in USA and
then in Europe, but you should have control
over temperature, as well. to manage the pressure
in pressure cookers. The control mechanisms that it has in it may sometimes scare the people. After getting through those fears and
hardships, we have conveniences today. Vestel Multicooker
can help cook any kind of meal that you can think of,
from beefs to rices, soups and jams, with 15 cooking settings it contains. You can easily cook
with the help of its 5.5 liter inner pot. It keeps your food warm even after the food has cooked
with its Keep Warm feature. At the same time, its high pressure
cooking feature enables us to cook easily the tough
legumes and big meats. You should have to wait on your foods
thanks to the timer feature. Thanks to the Delay Start feature, it can also start to cook
on its own when you like. In addition to these 15 cooking features, it has also Manual setting with
pressure, temp and time settings that you can change yourself. With Vestel Ziyafet Instant Pot
today I’m going to cook a beef goulash with an
amazing and soft meat, a pasta with tomatoes and chicken
that you can cook in a single pot, a Sloppy Joe in burger buns
that will satisfy everyone, a gorgeous potato salad
cooked with steam and lastly, a milk jam for you. Let’s start with beef goulash! Okay, we can start to cook. Instant Pot can work in Sauté
setting without the lid placed. And that makes our task much easier. We’ll set it to Sauté setting. While changing the settings,
we press the menu button. After that, we’ll press the plus
until we get the setting we need. We set it to the fifth setting. The instant pot is getting hotter, and
we got beef here for goulash. When you directly put the oil in it,
yes, they will be roasted, but My advice for this kind of foods is that
you should marinate them with little oil and spread the oil all over
the beef with your hand. In this manner,
sealing will be much easier. We’ll start by sealing the beefs.
Don’t fill the bottom so much. This sound is important. I’m sealing the all parts of the beefs.
Now, I’ll take them out and apply the same task
to the remaining beefs. As you see, the beefs are quickly sealed. I’m adding one large-chopped onion. I don’t need to add extra oil.
The remaining oil from the beef will do. Powdered red pepper is must for this food.
2 tablespoon of it. I’ll roast the onion and pepper together. Adding garlic to our mixture. Black pepper. 2 tablespoons of salt. And lastly, I’m adding a measure
cup of tomato puree, by using this cup that comes with the instant pot. We’ll put the beefs in again. You should experience the amazing smell
coming from the roasted powdered red pepper. All ingredients should
spread all over the beef and now, I’m adding hot water enough
to reach the level of beefs. The exact level of beef will do. I’m adding one large-chopped carrot to it and one large-chopped big potato. You can think it
like 2 middle size potatoes. I add a bay leaf
to give it a beautiful aroma. I put the bay leaf.
Look at that beauty. We can now place the lid on. We easily placed it. Look closer.
Here is a triangle and also here. Two triangles should fit each other.
And the sound comes. I turn it towards the lock. Firstly, we press the on/off button.
After that, we press Menu. It is already set to the Meat setting
as soon as we’ve pressed it. We’re turning this knob from the venting
setting to the sealing setting and we can now let it cook on its own. The beef goulash is ready
in Meat setting after 20 minutes. The time is over, but
the food won’t cool. As you see, it set itself
to Keep Warm feature. The food rested for 5 minutes. However,
don’t stand right behind of it. You can stand on the side
and release the steam. And no need to worry. You can’t displace the lid before
the release is all finished. Therefore, it is pretty safe. We’ve completed the steam release. Anyway, here is a lid locking pin.
You’ll see that it will drop after the release is completely done. After that, you can easily open it. Look at that! It looks and smells amazing. That’s all that easy and practical. I can move on to presentation. I want to now show you
the texture of ingredients and taste it. You can see how the fork easily goes in. A bit hot. The taste of the beef, especially the
intense aroma of powdered red pepper… And the potatoes also stay as they are.
They aren’t shattered. They are so good,
and their interiors are soft. So is the carrot. Now beef’s turn. Let me show you
the texture with a knife. The beef is so soft that
it can almost be smashed with a fork. The sauce of the goulash is expected to be
thick, but actually it should be like soup. Indeed, the original goulash
is consumed as a beef soup. I tried to share
the original recipe with you. It’s perfect with ample powdered red
pepper, broth and juice with vegetables. Perfect. You can enjoy all the flavors and, everything has cooked to a turn. Let’s move on to the next recipe. I’ll give you a very quick pasta recipe
with tomatoes and chicken. We’ll add the all ingredients, water, and
place the lid on. It’ll cook by itself. We’re putting the chicken in. I’ve finely
julienned the chickens. 5 cherry tomatoes. 5 dried tomatoes.
They are dried. 2 cloves of chopped garlic. 1 tablespoon of butter. 1 teaspoon of thyme. Salt. Black pepper. 1/2 packet of pasta. I’ll now add some hot water.
Not too much. The amount of water doesn’t
pass the level of pasta. That amount of water will do. Placing the lid on. I turned the steam knob I pressed the Menu, and I’ll set it to Chicken Sauté setting.
The 11. option. That’s all. Chicken Sauté setting is defined 20 minutes,
but it contains delicate ingredients like pasta. Because there aren’t so much chicken, you can turn the Instant Pot off
whenever you want. 10 minutes will be enough for this food.
The time is up, and I turn it off. We’ve released the steam.
Let’s check its texture out. The smell is amazing. As you see, the water is sufficient. We nicely stirred it. Thanks to Vestel Ziyafet Instant Pot, we’re able to easily cook a pasta that
smells amazingly good. Let’s plate it. With some basil and cheese addition,
the pasta is now perfect. Look at this chicken.
It is nicely cooked. I think this the best pasta
that you can make in such a short time. I’m going to give you
an amazing Sloppy Joe recipe with a minced meat sauce
that you will never be tired of eating. In orijinal recipe, you should
wait so much, but we’ll easily deal with it with
Vestel Ziyafet Instant Pot. I’m starting the machine in Sauté setting
with its lid open so that it can get heated. After it’s got heated, we’re adding the
minced meat, and firstly we’ll roast it. By the way, you can hold it from edges
while roasting something because the edges don’t get hot I’ve roasted the minced meat
for about 5-6 minutes. They got nicely colored.
We can now add the vegetables. I’m adding a small-chopped onion and a small-chopped a red pepper. A sweet bell pepper. 3 cloves of garlic. Salt. I continue to roast. We can now add the spices.
Black pepper. I’m adding a great amount of it. A full teaspoon of chili flakes and a full dessert spoon of powdered red
pepper for the food to be nicely colored. I’m now roasting the spices a bit. Now we can add all of
the remaining ingredients. A dessert spoon of tomato puree. I’m adding 2 tablespoons of ketchup to add
a nice sweetness to the food, and a dessert spoon of mustard to add
a little sourness to the food. I’m also adding 2 tablespoons of
grape molasses to add to sweetness, and a full dessert spoon of butter just to make it more glittering. I stir it nicely. It smells perfectly good. I’ll add some water. In this way, the minced
meat will be softer. I’m adding how water, of course. Not too much. I’m adding only a waterglass
of water. It won’t pass the level of minced meat. I can now place the lid on and
set it to sauté setting. We firstly press the on/off button,
and then Menu. It’s already set in Sauté setting
because it is the first setting. I’ve turned the knob. We’ll just wait. After 20 minutes in Sauté setting,
I’ve released all the steam and the mixture is ready. You can’t resist this smell.
It smells incredibly good. Fry your burger buns without
losing even a second. In fact, if you fry them after spreading
some butter on it, they will be better. I’ll use a small ladle like this
that comes with Instant Pot for serving. I can easily plate the food with that. It isn’t appropriate to make this beauty
wait. I want to taste it while it is hot. The silky minced meat feels like
it is spreading all over your palate. I can taste the sweet flavor that comes
from ketchup and grape molasses. You’ll want to eat and beat it, as you
continue. Definitely try this recipe. Let’s start to cook potato salad. It’s potato salad’s turn. You’ll love this salad with its potatoes
cooked with steam. Incredibly easy. I’ve peeled off the potatoes.
Putting them in and adding salt. And I’ll add a measure cup of water in it.
I’m closing the lid. I locked it, turned the knob. I press Menu. I set the 4. setting
for Steam Cooking feature. The potatoes will be ready in this setting
after exactly 10 minutes. That’s all. The potatoes are about to be ready.
Let’s make a sauce for it quickly. Juice of a lemon for the sauce. Some vinegar. By the way, you can use
any vinegar you like. I’m using apple cider vinegar. Half a tea glass of olive oil. I add some salt, but not too much since
I’ve already cured them. Black pepper. This is a very easy and
practical potato salad. I’ve added half a teaspoon of powdered red pepper so that
it can color the salad. I’ll now stir it, and here I have grounded fresh dill
for the top afterwards and… You heard the sound.
The potatoes are ready to go. I’ll now wait for some time so that
the steam lower, then I’ll open the knob. Here I have grounded dill and scallion. We’ve released the steam.
I press the on/off button. You can’t believe how
easily we’ve cooked the potatoes. Of course, we should check
whether the potatoes have cooked. They are nicely done. I’m gently taking the potatoes out and
putting them in the sauce when they are hot. I’m mixing them with the sauce. The sauce will cover the exterior of
potatoes with this heat. Adding the dill. I’ll keep some of it for the top. I’m adding the scallion and keeping
some for garnishing purposes. Let’s plate it. I’m adding some olive oil
so that it can glitter. And the potato salad is ready to go. This salad will make your mouths
water with its nice sour vinegar and the flavor coming from dill.
And we cooked it very easily. Look, the potatoes are soft. There’s nothing like a hot potato salad. It’s time for milk jam. We need only 3 ingredients for milk jam. Milk. A waterglass of granulated sugar.
I’ll now mix them up. And a full teaspoon of baking soda. 750 ml milk. I stir it until the sugar dissolves. The sugar dissolved. I’m directly putting
it to the Instant Pot’s inner pot. Closing the lid. Turning the knob. Pressing the Menu button and choosing the Jam setting, 8. setting. The Jam setting is done after 22 minutes.
I’ve turned it off. Afterwards, I didn’t release the steam
because it contains milk vapor, and it is denser than water
and can cast water droplets out. Therefore, I let it wait for 10 minutes,
and then released. I’ll now open the lid,
and you’ll see its amazing color. As you can see, the sugar is caramelized
and changed the milk’s color, but its consistency is still thin.
What do we do? I press Menu and change the setting
to the Sauté setting because it will boil for 20-25 minutes
with its lid open. After that, we’ll have a milk jam with
a splendid texture. After about 25 minutes,
there is no much boiling, bubbles have shrunk, but
it’s started to be thickened. Its color looks incredibly good,
and the smell… There is a beautiful caramel
milk smell in the room. Let’s put that aside and let it rest there to cool
to the room temperature and it’s done! The milk jam have rested
for 2 hours at the room temp. It is still hot and warm, but I want
to show you how its texture is. And I’ll taste it without delay. It will be thickened as it rests. Look, it was thinner a little while ago.
Now, it has a texture of a normal jam. You’ll have a thick milk jam after you let
it rest at the room temperature all night. I don’t want to eat so much.
I’ll taste it. Here the caramelized sugar flows down here…
Its amazing light milk flavor… So so good. You can use this as sauce for ice creams, spread it on your breads
