I have a long associatiom with law reinforcement having been a deputy sheriff in the sheriff's posse and recently a sergeant in the sheriff's auxiliary. I would vote against any federal law handing out money to law enforcement. Why? Because I know the constitution and nowhere is the federal government allowed to do so per our constitution. The federal government is allowed to do certain things but that pesky 10th amendment says, if we didn't grant you this power then it is not yours. Police powder belongs to the states and the people. Not to the leviathen.
