A PRACTICAL SAYA BREAD WITH FLAKY LAYERS THAT YOU CAN COUNT ONE BY ONE 👌 Ingredients 1 cup lukewarm milk (200ml) Half a teacup of yogurt 1 packet of baking powder 1 teaspoon of salt 3-3.5 cups of flour For the dough: 125g butter Half a teacup of vegetable oil For the topping: 1 egg yolk For the dough, mix all the ingredients until you get a smooth dough that doesn't stick to your hands. Divide the dough into 4 equal balls, stack them on top of each other, and brush each layer with a mixture of butter and vegetable oil. Let it rest covered for at least 20 minutes. As you see in the video, roll out each layer individually, stacking them on top of each other. Drizzle some of the oil from the tray between each layer. Roll it up and place it on the same tray. Let it sit covered in the freezer for 20 minutes. Remove from the freezer and place on parchment paper. Either by hand or using a rolling pin, flatten the dough. Brush with egg yolk and create patterns with a fork. Bake in a preheated oven at 280 degrees Celsius for 30-35 minutes, or until golden brown on top and bottom. Enjoy!
